The 1990s were an extraordinary period in my career. It was a time when entertainment reigned supreme, when social media didn\u2019t exist, when people went out to shows precisely to socialise\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was lucky enough to perform in front of thousands of spectators and share the stage with some of the biggest boy bands of the time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 1997 \u2013 Chassieu: a concert attended by 20,000 people featuring G-Squad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In June 1997, in Chassieu, in front of a crowd of nearly 20,000, on the RMC stage (and thanks to G\u00e9rard Sibelle \u2013 RMC\u2019s promotion director), I shared the stage with G-Squad, France\u2019s first major boy band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band at that time consisted of Chris Keller, G\u00e9rald Jean-Laurent, Marlon, Mika and Andrew McCarthy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time, their hits \u00abRaide dingue de toi\u00bb and \u00abAucune fille au monde\u00bb were all the rage amongst young fans, and the G-Squad phenomenon was at its peak. I\u2019m still looking for the photo I took backstage with them. I remember them telling me they loved Michael Jackson \u2013 they were all big fans of his \u2013 just a few days before Michael Jackson\u2019s concert at the Stade de Gerland in Lyon on 25 June. In fact, MJ\u2019s concert was due to take place in Chassieu, at that same huge venue, which could hold more people than the Gerland Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1998 \u2013 Tr\u00e9voux: a meeting with the British band Ultimate Kaos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The following year, I performed in Tr\u00e9voux alongside the British band Ultimate Kaos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The band consists of Haydon Eshun, Jomo Baxter, Ryan Elliott, Nick Grant and Jayde Spence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

True stars of the British pop scene, they went on to score one hit after another with songs such as \u00abCasanova\u00bb and \u00abHoochie Booty\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1999 \u2013 Culin (Is\u00e8re): \u2018La Nuit des Vacances\u2019 featuring Alliage in front of 10,000 people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 1999, I rediscovered the incredible atmosphere of major public events at the \u2018Nuit des Vacances\u2019 in Culin, in Is\u00e8re, organised by Pascal Deny. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In front of nearly 10,000 people, I share the stage with Alliage, one of the most popular French boy bands of the decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band consists of Quentin Elias, Steven Gunnell, Roman Lata Ares and Brian Torres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their hits \u00abBa\u00efla\u00bb, \u00abLucy\u00bb and \u00abLe temps qui court\u00bb had a whole generation singing along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
