Good news – the French Funk Federation is going on tour!

FFF: the French «fonck» is still going strong

Formed in Paris in 1987, FFF — Fédération Française de Fonck — occupies a unique place on the French music scene. Led by Marco Prince on vocals, Nicolas «Niktus» Baby on bass, Krichou Monthieux on drums and Yarol Poupaud on guitar, the band has created an explosive sound blending funk, rock, soul and metal energy.

He came to prominence in the early 1990s, largely thanks to his debut album Blast Culture, FFF quickly built up a solid reputation on stage. Tracks such as Marco, Barbès, The Worst and the Best or Morpheus have become emblematic of their style. After several albums, tours in France and abroad, and a Victoire de la Musique award for their live performances, the band took a long break before returning to their audience in full force.

Yarol Poupaud’s powerful and inventive guitar playing plays a key role in FFF’s identity. A passionate musician, also known for having accompanied Johnny Hallyday, he is simultaneously pursuing a successful solo career. I actually had the great pleasure of meeting him to mark the release of his own solo album

More than thirty-five years after its formation, FFF remains a formidable live act. The band continues to thrill audiences with its irresistible blend of groove, riffs and rock energy.
