I had the pleasure of being featured in an article dedicated to my journey and artistic adventure, in this biography written by the author, Frédéric Benkel.
For over thirty-three years (April 1992), I have paid tribute to Michael Jackson on stage with passion and sincerity, striving to convey the emotion and energy that made him a legend.
The article also looks back on my meeting with Frédéric Benkel, a journalist and great admirer of Michael Jackson.
Our friendship, which began in 2008, inspired him to write »The Incredible Story of Ben Jack'son,» a work freely inspired by my journey, which I was delighted to see in the hands of many people during my book signings after my shows.
To my great surprise!
I didn't think my journey would interest so many people. When the author proposed this project to me, I must admit that I wouldn't have bet on the success of this work, despite Frédéric's great talent.
Beyond the spectacle, this (auto)biographical book addresses themes close to my heart: identity, passion, perseverance, and the search for meaning.
I am particularly touched to see my story told with such kindness and depth.
I would like to thank Frédéric Benkel for his honest perspective on my journey, as well as all the people who have followed me for so many years and who contribute to keeping this artistic tribute alive through time.
